        Established in 1967, Dewey Avenue School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 325 students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. Its syllabus includes reading, writing, science, English, mathematics and music. The school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. It also employs an academic literacy coach and resource, speech and language teachers.
