        In addition to the many varieties of plants that we purchase from premier nurseries from all over California we are also a traditional nursery where we specialize in growing azaleas, camellias, gardenias, hydrangeas, Pachira aquatica, "Good Luck Money Tree", Michelia champaca Alba, bonsai, Nandina domestica Filamentosa, poinsettias and other general nursery stock. In the 1970's we hybridized the Mission Bell azalea named for its characteristic bell-shaped flower and for its origin in the “City with a Mission”. Established in 1923, we have been serving Southern California for over 80 years. Founded in 1923, San Gabriel Nursery & Florist is a family-owned and operated business that was incorporated under its present name in 1955. Our nursery specializes in carrying a large selection of many varieties of plants including those that are rare or hard to find. We have a two-acre retail nursery featuring a complete garden supply center and full service florist. Three generations of family members along with an extensive staff, continue the tradition of providing quality nursery stock at reasonable prices.

        I like coming here and seeing all the different plants. There is a big selection and plenty of parking in the lot.

        My husband and I purchased two bonsai and returned to purchase a third bonsai. We found a bonsai amongst the bonsai priced around $200. We took it up to the register and were told the bonsai's price is $200. We told the salesperson we would purchase the bonsai and asked her to hold the bonsai for us while we selected additional items to purchase. When we were ready to pay for the bonsai along with 7 additional items (totaling $100), the price of the bonsai tree went up by an additional $100. Extremely dishonest!



        15 days later, I called and spoke with Fred. I asked if I could return the items I purchased 15 days ago. Fred told me I could return or exchange the items. I drove 148 miles round trip to return or exchange the items. Upon my arrival, I was told there is no return or exchange. Extremely dishonest!

        Hi All..



        I was shopping around for various plants and came across San Gabriel nursery. I will say that they have knowledge of their plants HOWEVER, they are incredibly overpriced. Anywhere from 8 to $12 for a 1 gallon! $18 to $25 for a 5 gallon!..and so on. I was very shocked at this. I eventually went to an online nursery and found what I was looking for for half the price.

        Excellent nursery

        San Gabriel Nursery has been around for quite a while. They have a very knowledgeable and helpful staff - and a huge variety and stock of plants and trees. It's popular, co can get kind of crowded, but usually not too bad.
