Claire's

Scoundrels!!! Stay away from this store if you care about doing business with people of integrity. This is an extremely dishonest establishment, and in my opinion they swindle unwary shoppers.

November 25, 2016: Claire's has signs throughout the store that read, "Entire Store - Buy 3 get 3 Free." There is a small sign at the register that says the policy does not apply to Shopkins. I see the sign, and my kids pick out 6 items, none of which are Shopkins. At the register, they ring up my 6 items, 2 of which are Troll items. Then the employee says, "That will be $65." I was expecting $28. I said, "I thought four were free?" She responds, "No... troll items are excluded."

I complain about the dishonesty, and point to the sign that says, "Entire Store." There is no posted exclusion for Troll items. I could tell her to return 4 of the items, but then I would look like a jerk in front of my kids. Instead I suck it up and pay the $65, but this is the last dollar Claire's will ever get from me. I refuse to do business with liars who make a living using deceptive business practices. The manager hears me, and randomly says "We are not corporate." Well, that is good to know I guess, but the sign is misleading and is intentionally designed to exploit shoppers. I suggest you stay away from Claire's!
