The facility also maintains a 10-station exercise course and several lighted ball fields. It has a fishing pier, community center and classrooms. Chaparral Park maintains a recreational path for running, walking, biking and rollerblading. The facility features a lake that spreads across an area of over 10 acres. Its facilities are available on a rental basis for organizing picnics. Chaparral Park additionally maintains an off-leash area that covers an area of nearly four acres. The facility is governed by the City of Scottsdale in Arizona.
