Amazing Performance Opportunities We don’t have our recitals in the back room of the piano store. We perform every year in November at a nursing home, December we’re at Paradise Valley Mall and Fiesta Mall and in April we have our Spring Recitals on a stage with stage lighting, professional sound, grand piano, drum cage and more. In January we have our huge Showcase in the Ikeda Theater at the Mesa Arts Center! These are opportunities that the teacher that comes to your house just can’t provide. Our students have performed leading roles in local productions as well as won scholarships to performing arts academies in New York and L.A.. Many have recorded their own CDs and are pursuing their passion in music. But don’t be scared! Everyone starts somewhere and we realize that most kids won’t make music a career. We’re here to help every student develop a gift that will last a lifetime.

        Kirk's Studio for the Performing Arts is the Valley's Premier Studio for musical instruction. Our faculty consists of Doctorates and decades of experience. We offer performance opportunities that you simply will not find anywhere else. We work with young first-time beginners all the way through advanced students looking to make a career as a performer or musician. We perform annually at nursing homes and malls. Our students also perform annually in the PF Chang's Rock and Roll Marathon and our huge annual Showcase in the Ikeda Theater at the Mesa Arts Center! Kirk's Studio for the Performing Arts was founded by Kirk Taylor, a professional musician and teacher for over 25 years. You can hear Kirk on the radio weekly as the host of "Lessons 2.0 How to Get the Most Out of Your Lessons" Tuesdays from 7-8pm on 1100am KFNX or online at www.1100kfnx.com. Kirk also writes for several periodicals on how students and parents can most benefit from their lessons. He loves seeing students progress and achieve their musical goals. Our professional, friendly instructors provide lessons in piano, voice, guitar, strings, percussion and most other instruments. We offer private and group lessons for all ages and ability levels.

        Location
        The Scotsdale Studio is on the southwest corner of Frank Lloyd Wright and Via Linda - just north of Shea. We're in the two-story building on the second floor. Just down from the Good Egg.

        Our studios feature a 7' Yamaha Concert grand piano, a 6' Yamaha grand piano, state-or-the-art technology for all students, comfortable reception area with wi-fi and observation space for parents.

        Kirk's is awesome. Pretty sure the other reviewer that left one star is one of those people that suck on lemons and own another music store. Know what I mean?
