Operational for more than 100 years, the SeaTac Fire Department works to preserve lives and property through fire prevention and suppression, rescue and emergency medical services. It operates three fire stations that utilize various engines, pumpers, command vehicles, trucks, and air support and aid units. The department responds to cases related to commercial, vehicle and residential fire and hazardous material incidents. The SeaTac Fire Department also conducts duties concerned with vehicle extrication, confines space and surface water rescue.
