Fremont Maytag Cleaning Center

This laundromat recently replaced its coin-operated machines with card-operated machines. The cards cost $3 separate from the cost of using the machines. The proprietors don't let you know this, however, so you wind up spending more money here than you thought you would. Also, the washing machines are jerry-rigged to remain locked if the proprietors are feeling particularly sadistic, which they were when I was there. I spent 45 minutes telling them that if they couldn't figure out a way to unlock my laundry, they were stealing it and I would have to call the police. They only unlocked the machines when a man came in offering me assistance. This is a horrible place, and the people who run it are horrible people.
