We had high expectations with the place. The service was good. The food selection wasn't anything to brag about, the coco mojito was good, the portions for appetizers and meals were extremely small. The kicker was two things...the valet had no sign of how much to pay and they had two lots to force you to use valet. The restaurant was puts in fine print at the bottom that they will automatically charge you 18% if you spend over $100 or party if six ( which is ok). For 4 of us (parents and 2 young teens) it was $140 plus the $26 they tacked on for gratuity. We're not returning. We would have spent the same or less going to dinner in NY.

They demand higher end look with low end service and food Went there for a dinner for seven they were at about 20percent occupancy and the wait for my food was 1 1/2 hr after being seated we all were hungry so I said to just bring out the food as made because there's no way it's all not done he said one more minute and still 1/2 hr later no food finally when the food arrived all seven plates were room temperature us men were so hungry we ate the bland tasting food anyway the 3 women didn't the waiter took there's back and to what I believe popped it into the microwave and returns with three plates five minutes later they refused to eat and the waiter offered to bag it to go really? The owner then said he'll take off one of the plates from the bill and give us dessert on the house after we spoke about the cold food never asked what any one wanted and returns with only three small deserts so my wife is supposed to share with me and a table of seven and one child gets only three we just asked for the check they included the gratuity which is expected with good service but I shouldn't have to be forced to pay gratuity for below grade service especially when the price of the food is not below grade at the end the owner removed the gratuity and we left a tip that was to me more than enough for the poor treatment and lack of restaurant management as a whole I will never go again.
