Twisted Restaurant & Bar

We had an amazing experience as our first time here. We had a male waiter who was new but very knowledgeable and nice. We will be back! The crab cake was great. Asian BBQ salmon delicious! House white wine wasn't great, stick with Riesling.

Food is normally fantastic, but I phoned in an order for the pan fried perch during a slow time at that. Everything looked and tasted microwaved. I live 3 minutes away and by the time I got home, it was all cold. The bread sticks were half warmed and stale. The fish was soggy and the baked potato was definitely nuked. For 12.00 a plate with an added tip, I am deeply disappointed. I think I'll stick to making my own from here on out. Sorry, it was a stellar restaurant when it was the Twisted Root.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! WE waited over 1 1/2 hours, while others who arrived after us were seated. (They did not have reservations) Told owner, she DID NOTHING to resolve the problem, except blame broken plumbing.TERRIBLE WAITRESS, tall with dark hair, was rude and sarcastic. Finally told us the "table will be ready soon...", then walked away and never returned. AFTER ANOTHER 15 minutes, we approached the owner and waitress again about the additional wait time. Waitress said, "I told you the table was ready...." I said, if we were supposed to follow you, when we were not coming (thought the table was not ready yet) then why in God's name did'not you come back immediately to get us? The waitress sarcastically said, "because we have been too busy...." Owner did NOTHING to address this situation!!! A very kind lady named Heidi, who was sitting next to us, actually went to the owner on our behalf to see what the problem was. She even offered for us to eat with them. Her kindness helped us to remain as patient as pissibke. About 10 minutes kater, Heidi and her husband were seated, as we sat there waiting. THE NASTY WAITRESS, TALL WITH DARK HAIR, ACTUALLY MADE SURE WE WERE AWARE SHE WAS DELIBERTLY SEATING THEM BEFORE US. They had waited only about 20 minutes. The poor management, sick power games played by this unprofessional, uncaring waitress, and lack of value towards customers tells us to NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. This was our first and last TWISTED experience at the Twisted Bar and Restaurant!!!BEWARE, AVOID, AVOID....HORRIBLE SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!

I had there chef's choice pasta and man was it delicious. It's cool because you don't know what your getting until it comes. plus the in house hickory smoked prime rib as the server described it, was so good on Saturdays only though. You have to check it out!
