Webb Funeral Home was selected after interviewing all funeral homes in Shelbyville. My mother was on an inpatient hospice unit when we met with Lane and Ross, so we were having a very difficult time. They allowed us to explore all of our options, ask countless questions (twice), and treated us with dignity and respect. I can't say the same of all of the funeral homes in Shelbyville. My mother had three occurrances of cancer, so she was not insurable. They walked us through the process of planning a difficult funeral with many family dynamics. They did not assume we were unable to pay for the funeral. They gave us options we could have afforded even if we had been unable to pay for the full service funeral we had. We felt supported every step of the way. They laughed and cried with us. They met our special needs - child out of state, mentally challenged blind child, family dynamics, and more. They continue all these months later to answer questions, guide our decisions, and support us with information on the grieving process. They helped every step of the way with flowers, casket decisions, and allowing ample individual time for every family member to say good bye. My intention is to trust them with all of my future funeral needs.
