Preston's Hair & Body Salon

Lynn once again traded greedy for good business practice. I spend a fortune at her salon. Every month this year I have bought a gift certificate for someone from Preston's, plus got my hair cut colored, waxed, the whole shabang. Tonight I got my 2nd massage from a new woman who's willing to see me after 7:00 and Lynn raised the price by 20.00, a 25% mark up because it was after 7:00! How come she doesn't charge more for hair stylists who see clients at night? Plus she's there almost every night because she doesn't trust most of her staff to be in the building alone, so she's hardly going out of her way, God forbid you do that for a client who is reliable, spends money regularly, and doesn't use a credit card. When I get my hair done, I pray she's not there because she makes everyone on edge, me included. She's always checking on something or commenting on something. In this day and age I happen to be fortunate enough to get a 90 minute massage. I don't have to go to Preston's. I go there becaause I love Danielle and its a female owned business in Sherwood. Since I also am a female business owner in Sherwood, I try and shop locally. I would never be so stupid as to look a gift horse in the mouth and sometimes greedy can backfire. Lynn, in this case that's exactly what happened because I won't ever purchase another 90 minute massage there, nor will I buy another gift certificate again. I can go to another salon in N Little Rock who doesn't seem to have a problem with my after 7:00 massage. I will see Danielle though because she's worth putting up with your cheap self!
