This has become my favorite cleaners. They do all their work on property unlinke the last cleaners I went to. The staff is super nice and the cost is cheap. All my clothes are always handled nicely. I had a button missing on one of my blouses, they saw it and replaced it for free without me even asking! They are truly a great dry cleaner with wonderful customer service.

Overall

I would have given this place a minus star rating if there were an option to do so.

Do not bring your clothes for alterations unless you don't care that your clothes get ruined AND you get a snappy attitude back from the owners.

They ruined my expensive clothes and not only did not apologize when I brought it up to their attention, but refused to do anything about it and got very rude with me.

The summary of my experience is that I paid $55 to have $450 worth of clothes ruined irreversibly and to get some talking down, rude remarks and attitude from the owners.

The first time, I had jeans there for alterations. I specified that those were very expensive ($400 as it is...) jeans and asked to be careful. When the jeans came back, there was a hole at the hem line. I thought nothing of it (you know, it happens) and just asked them to fix it. They fixed that, so I made a mistake to bring more clothes there.

The second time I again brought there for alterations high quality clothes. The Brooks Brothers blouse came back with a bunching stitching. The Ellen Tracy dress came with a hem that looks like it was the lower end of what they sell in Wal-Mart: it is not even cut straight, it is not sewed straight, the thread is too heavy for the fabric - again, bulging. And The 7 For All Mankind jeans came back with a hem a quarter inch longer than it should have been and stitched in a way that it is now impossible to adjust it to the length that is needed.

All in all - ruined. Perhaps, the hem on the dress could have been adjusted. To my bewildered questions: "What is this?", I got a smart response: "It's a hem. This is how it is done". And then, 'There is no way we will refund you your money. We can iron the dress, if you want.' Not even an apology, no suggestion to fix, no attempt to be nice, no refund for doing the work that ruined the clothes (not even talking about refunding the cost of the clothes ;-)). The girl was actually angry when she spoke to me... How about that? :)

So, unless you want the same lovely experience, my recommendation is to stay away from that place. There's Julie's alterations in the Best Buy plaza on Cobb Parkway - excellent quality and no talking down in a rude voice to the customers.
