Primrose School of Smyrna West

I spoke with Smoyer about my concerns with the professionalism of the two teachers I worked with. Smoyer assured me on August 19th, 2016 that I would be moved to a new classroom within 1-2 days. That same day my car keys went missing out of my purse that was locked up in the same spot as Mrs. Robinson and Ms. Padilla’s. On Monday, August 22nd, 2016 I had to call out of work because I had to sign for a package that included my remote for my vehicle that at this time was still parked at Primrose. That Tuesday, on August 23, 2016, when I got to work I was terminated. According to the owner, Cory Durden, instead of moving me into another classroom he was just going to terminate me. I communicated with management about my apprehensions within the classroom and then one of my co-workers retaliated by throwing away my car keys and in the ending result I was terminated to conceal the unethical behaviors of my coworkers and to ensure the good reputation of the private preschool. #whistleblower

Don't ever work here and leave because the director will give you a bad reference. I found out the hard way, you leave on good terms and she'll stab you in the back.

We have one child that currently goes to Primrose Smyrna West and one that has graduated. My wife and I are so impressed with the teachers, management team, and the overall school in general. From the very friendly welcomes in the morning by staff members to knowing our child is in a very safe and nurturing environment is exactly what we want as parents. Our son actually cries when he has to leave in the afternoon because he does not want to leave his teachers and friends. Additionally, having three (3) teachers in each classroom brings the ratios down for more small group interaction. Other schools cannot say this about their teachers/classrooms We love this school and most importantly so does our son. We know there is not another childcare comparison in the market because we checked them out.

We have 2 children at primrose smyrna west and I highly recommend them to everyone. We have had the best experience Nd they have truly become our second family!

ONE OF THE WORST companies i have ever worked for. Childcare and school is not about the money. But primrose, a corrput and unjustified excuse for a school. They smile in your face abd stab you in the back. As a former employee,im highly disappointed and ashamed to say i worked for them. Your(urrent or prospective parents) are being scammed into thinking your getting nothing but the best. But in reality all your recieving is lies. Management is not honest about your childs behavior. We are told in trainings and meetings to say nothing about your childs day if its negative. Meaning if they didnt have their listening ears on, or hitting friends, running around in the class telling your childss teacher no.. we as your childs teacher are told we are not allowed to tell you thd truth. If your child was in an altercation with another child the incident report may state he "bumped" into that other child or her "accidently" hit them. Everything far from the truth. As a parent, i want to know the truth. It doesnt mean my child had a bad day, but if my child is hitting or not listening, i want to know so i can discuss with my child about appropriate behavior at school and reinforce that at home. If a parent is taking their child homethinking a lie. Then what kind of future is your child being led into thru primrose? Ask yourself
