Angelo Caputo's Fresh Market

I purchased a meal near the homemade meal section. They refused to give me free tap water to go with it and had me pay over a dollar for a bottle. Out of principle, they should have offered me some free water to go with my purchased meal.. not make me pay for a bottle.

Several years ago, when they were remodeling the Algonguin location from it's previous store (might have been Cubs), it took forever. When it finally opened, I went there and was beyond thrilled. It's like shopping years back in the ethnic neighborhoods of the city of Chicago. Great workers, excellent selection, decent prices....couldn't ask for more.

You must check out the deli at Caputo's. Top notch.

I've been a customer of Caputo's since their first store in Elmwood Park. This new store is the largest I've seen. The produce department is well stocked. There is a ready to serve area if you don't feel like cooking. The aisles are wide and uncluttered. The deli department is well staffed. Checkout is a breeze. Welcome to the neighborhood.
