        Overall

        I am pro-American products and purchased a mattress with the understanding that it was made in North Carolina. Unfortunately, Serta started manufacturing outside of the U.S. and the mattress I received was "assembled" in another country. Needless to say, the owner personally took charge of the situation after the Serta rep. and sales person didn't seem to think it was an important issue. I was told that the mattress I purchased would be discontinued and was even given an upgraded mattress. The owner's customer service was excellent.
