Westgate Family Physicians offers cryotherapy treatment to freeze off warts, superficial cancerous cells and other skin lesions. Using precisely placed, extremely cold liquid nitrogen, our providers are able to destroy tissue quickly and safely. The treated area may take 7-10 days to heal and the area may appear red, swollen and blistered for a short time. You may also experience clear fluid drainage in the treated area. This is all normal.

Family Practice
Dr Hess has been part of the Westgate Family Physicians since 1998. He is board certified in family medicine. He spent 10 years in the U.S. Army prior to coming here. He was raised in a christian family and became a christian at a young age. He loves family medicine because it allows him to know his patients and be part of their lives. He and his wife have 5 children. When he is not here he enjoys hunting, riding motorcycle, being outdoors, spending time with family and serving at his church. This is what he says about working here: “I love working in a place where I can work with people who care about the patients and one another. I am very thankful that God led me here. I see my role as one who tries to relieve suffering and improve health when God allows me to and to point people to God’s grace in every situation. God uses us all to build up one another in love.”
