Spirit Lake Marine

If you value your Boat ...... DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO THIS SHOP!!!!! a few of the issues are:

while fixing the boat the starter was broken and we were charged we had had no starter problems before. After changing the oil they let the old dirty oil fall into the bottom of the motor and it spilled all over our drive way when the motor was tilted upwards for traveling. but most of all the problem we brought the boat in for originally and they said they fixed was not fixed at all. The first time out on the lake after the supposed repair the boat demonstrated the same issues that were to be repaired. It quit in the middle of the lake stranded us and our company. Spirit Marine was called and they said "oh the hose must have come loose again...". After a bill well over a $1000 dollars why should a hose come loose that they supposedly fixed. etc etc. Just Beware

We've been using the shop for years! Do not let one bad review ruin it for you. refer him to our friends and family I wouldn't take out boat to anyone else.

I live close to this repair shop and several people refered them to us. I would never tell anyone to go to this shop. They need to get a negitive rating!! They never did the work that they said they did. Put a wrong hose on it damaged the engine. Then they had boat for 2 weeks, and ordered a new hose. The hose ended up being wrong hose. We ask to have our boat back, so we could get it fix some place else. They wouldn't give our boat back till we paid $75.00

They said that was for labor and clean up oil in boat. We got the boat home and it was still full of oil in the blege.

We wouldn't even give them a one star. Save your money and your boat and don't ever go to Spirit Lake Marine.
