The veggies sold here are the way I remember veggies tasting in the old days. The corn is the sweetest and best tasting I've had in years. Remember eating green beans that were tender and full of good taste? Well, you can't beat the green beans sold here. These are just a couple of the veggies you can buy at this store, and they're all home grown right in Mr and Mrs Beekman's fields. When you purchase something, it usually was just picked fresh and brought up to the store within minutes. I can't believe how good the tomatoes are too. Besides the veggies they have melons and many other surprises you wouldn't expect. Mrs. Beekman sells her home made pies that are to die for, and believe me, they go very fast every day, so get there early to be able to pick your favorite flavor. The store is very clean and the family is very friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable which helps in these hard times.
