Big O Tires

Worse tire service I have ever encountered in 35 years of owning vehicles. My tires and valve stems on my Ford F150 truck were replaced by Big O Tires on November 8, 2017. Today is February 8, 2018. My Ford OEM valve stem length is 1 1/4", and 2" valve stems were installed on my alloy wheels. It was dark out when I drove off after the service. I noticed the LONG valve stems the next day and did some checking into this. On the 3rd or 4th day later I contacted Big O corporate. Close up photos reveal used valve caps were installed (not new ones), 4 different styles, 1 was split, and 2 are undersized exposing part of the metal tip of the valve stem. The 2" long valve stems look real stupid on the wheels. Other opinions agree. They flex more and make it difficult to add air to the tires. Because they are so long, the excessive flexing while driving on the highway will very likely cause micro fractures and premature valve stem failure before tires need replacing. I was also charged $11.50 more than the advertised internet price. In addition, 2 styles of weights were used. Too many wheel weights were used on 1 wheel. I had 2 other wheel/tire service shops confirm the weights and the valve stems. Long story short, Big O Tires had until February 8, 2018 (90 days) to make corrections before I went on the internet to let others know how bad this basic tire service was, and tire changes are supposed to be what they specialize in. Bottom line is, after dozens of phone calls and emails, Big O Tires refuses to fix the problem. They spent more time and money avoiding fixing the problem than it would cost to fix it correctly and make a customer happy. Also nicks and scratches were added to my alloy wheels during the service and that is another separate issue I am unable to prove. Big O Tires refuses to provide me with photos of the tool used to remove the center hubs and photos of the tire changer used. Would you take your vehicle to a service shop that does this type of work and refuses to correct at least the simple issues... the valve stems and weights? I would definitely NOT recommend anyone have their tires done at Big O Tires! I will never take any of my vehicles there ever again! (Customer 33201908, Order 400021770023)
