WELCOME to the world of relaxation and rejuvenation! My name is Michael Kowal. I am owner and operator of Michael's Massage & Bodywork. I am a nationally certified and locally licensed massage therapist with over 25 years experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage, Neuromuscular, Hot Stone, Natal Massage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Craniosacral, Reiki energy healing, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Deep Breathing Meditation techniques. With skills honed through many years of hands on application, teaching and research, my gentle, healing approach specializes in chronic and acute pain relief, stress reduction, and well being counseling. I hold numerous certifications in advanced healing practices, as well as degrees in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, and Wildlife Biology. I am also a published writer and poet, professional musician and songwriter. I live on Pugh St in State College Pesnnsylvania with my wife Cathie, have a portable massage business where in I come to your home, dorm room, or place of business with my table and all supplies for full hour, 90 minute, or 2 hour massage sessions. br>I am available by appointment for massage at very reasonable rates and offer free health, stretching and exercise consultations.
