I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this attorney and wonder if the lower ratings are from people who were on the other side of her case that she beat in court and now look to get even with her by using the rating system as a bashing forum... Do yourself a favor and read the GOOD RATINGS and see what those of US have to say! She is a highly skilled Lawyer who will defend her clients with a no-nonsense approach! She Is well-prepared in Court and does NOT drag out the case and will NOT tell you lies or mis-lead you in any way even if it is something you prefer not hearing! As for her fees, they are reasonable and for those who have complained, DON'T YOU want to get paid for the work YOU do?
BE SMART AND BELIEVE THE GOOD RATINGS... HIRE HER BEFORE YOUR OPPONENT DOES!!!! You don't want to be on the other side of the table!!! Don't say I didn't GIVE YOU THE HEADS UP!!! DON'T HESITATE...SHE IS THE BEST!!!

In spite of the negative reviews, I used here because my "trusted" Real Estate attorney suggested i should that she is a "killer"
Had a great consult with her, seemed very attentive, asked all the right questions, seemed professional! Yes even charged for the consult.

My ex and I had used a mediator, so we had no disputes, everything was agreeable, which annoyed Ms Aplin, meaning her billable hours would be limited. Well somehow she was able to "create" enough billable hours that she charged me over $7,000 for the most simple divorce.
I should have hired an attorney to investigate her billing pratice, because I know for a fact there was no way she put in XXXX hours to finalize my documents and divorce.
If that was not enough, She was a 1 woman show. you couldn't get her on the phone even you tried. her receptionist was too busy (changing her baby diapers in the office) to be helpful, and even when the divorce was final, I called needing a copy of the divorce decree, they told me to go to City Hall to get it, that they don't send copies! This was the most rude "team" 2 woman show I ever met in my life.. STAY AWAY!

Don't hire her. I regret I did. I should have read reviews online, if I did I will not hire her. She did not file my necessary court papers and lost count 1 before the other party did anything. No client communication. She change court date and leave u waiting all day in court. No preparation. Use general knowledge, no specific detail attention to my case. Brag to get money and deliver nothing in court due to sloppiness. I was warned not to hire her, I gave her a chance and she proved them right. See other reviews online if u doubt me. Waste of time and money.
