Capital City Cabinet Refacing

Less than 2 years ago I purchased laminate counter tops from Capital City. I chose them in part to support local business and because I thought they had a good reputation. A few months after the 1 year warranty expired,the laminate on an outside corner started to lift up and the seam started to widen. It probably started sooner but I did not notice it until it started to separate and the area widened. This outside corner is nowhere near the sink -it is not subject to water and not near the stove. I was told that it was a not a work defect but related to the "environment." ( I wonder why the rest of the counters are okay since they live in the same environment?
Since the warranty had recently expired,they do not see it as there problem and the cost to fix it is mine. I don't have a fancy kitchen- I painted cabinets and tried to make it look as good a possible on a limited budget, Needless to say , I suggest you do not use this company if you want a product that lasts longer than a year!
