I've been going to Raul for over 15 years and have always been satisfied with the work. I feel as though he genuinely cares about the quality and is very thorough.

I was taking my car to the dealer for regular maintenance until a friend of mine recommended that I should go to RC Automotive in Sun Valley. Raul took great care of me!! He made sure my car was in working order and gave me recommendations for my next service. I now feel so comfortable driving my car all around the state. I love my car more than ever, thanks to Raul at RC!! And, he was also much less expensive and more convenient than the dealer....

Raul at RC Automotive and Tires in Sun Valley is unreliable and inflates the price.

We had a valve issue and we took it to RC Automotive and Tires because we were told that he would be able to do the same work for a better price.

Raul the chief technician inspected the vehicle, agreed on the source of the problem, and told us that he would match the price of the chain shop. He said that he would need it for A DAY. We scheduled the car to be brought in on a Wednesday. Raul wasn’t there to receive it, so another mechanic took it in and processed our info. Because of a coordination delay, he wasn’t able to start on it until Thursday. On Friday he told us that he needed it for one more day. Fine. Then on Saturday he called to tell us at 1:30PM that he couldn’t finish it that day because he was late to a family event. When the car is already 2 days late, that is the WRONG answer. Of course he doesn’t work on Sundays. We finally got the car back 4 days after what was supposed to be a 1-day repair.

Why are his prices inflated? We had the same repair priced at a chain shop. We brought the car and chain’s estimate to RC Automotive and Tires and had a verbal agreement that he would be able to match it. On Thursday when he started working on it, he called us with a verbal estimate, which was about on par with what we had discussed. When we arrived at the shop to pick it up, the final price was another $100 more expensive. What’s the difference? He forgot to include the PRIMARY PART NEEDED in the estimate he gave over the phone. So the rest of the estimate included fluff, inflated, crap.

Terrible experience, save your time and money and go somewhere else.
