Kelly's Hair Salon

The entire service was excellent!! I walked in to schedule an appointment in advance because 1) I’ve never been to Kelly’s salon before and 2) I wanted to show her some pictures of what I would like done and to see if she could do what I wanted. Kelly also gave her opinion on what might look good. After all, she does have years of experience :) Other places I’ve been to (not in WA) have done more than I’ve asked (in a negative way, if you know what I mean I.e. cut more than I’ve asked or colored too bright).

The day of my appointment: I did not have to wait long. Before Kelly began we went over again what I wanted done which was cut the ends off with a layer and color ombré-balayage blond with slight highlights at the top to blend in. She also told me how much it would cost since my hair is long (almost to my lower back) and if I wanted to proceed. The coloring, drying, wash, cut, blow dry, straighten process took about two and a half hours. I would definitely recommend this place!

Kelly is wonderful! After experiencing some "less than great" haircuts at other salons, I was a little nervous to try again. So, I really researched reviews of salons around this area (not just on yelp, but other sites as well). Kelly was the only one who had perfect reviews every time. I was in desperate need of a cut b/c it had been 6 months since my last bad haircut at another salon, and Kelly was able to fit me in the day I called. I was lucky, because she stays pretty busy! She knew exactly what my hair needed, and taught me a few styling tricks as well. I am so happy to have finally found a stylist that I can trust. She is Vidal Sassoon trained, and great at matching color to what most compliments your skin tone, as well as expertly shaping eyebrows with waxing. I also love the fact that she is the owner/stylist, her salon is very comfy and inviting, and you don't have all the "drama" you get with some large salons. Kelly's is a much more personal one-on-one experience where you are her main focus and not " just a number". I am very happy with the haircut and services I received, Kelly knows what she is doing!

I asked her to do a certain cut and she did exactly what I had told her to do. She kept on asking for my opinions as well! Also, she has a great personality and you will never be bored with her!!
