Crystal Nails

I had my first visit to Crystal Nails yesterday ... it had such great reviews! I was really disappointed. The owners seemed very nice, but the young girl who did my "manicure" really didn't seem to know what she was doing. She kept consulting her coworkers. Her work station was dirty ... covered in drill/file dust. She used a dirty, used file on my nails. Not very sanitary. And after soaking in Acetone for quite a while, not a drop of lotion touched my hands, I had to moisturize when I got home. In my opinion, that's not the manicure I was charged for. Maybe I just got the wrong worker.

I have been going to this salon for years. 2 years ago this place was awesome, great people and the nails looked great. I got a new job a moved away for sometime. Just recently about 2 months ago I have started to return to this salon only because now I have another job and it is very close to here. The nails now look terrible, my nails the past 2 times are uneven have gashes and gouges and are very crooked. I asked for nail art and the OWNER who did my nails both times btw said I couldn't get nail art because he couldn't do it and his wife who works there is the only one who can and she's busy. Are you kidding me!?! Not only did he rush through my nails to make them look like crap, but he also isn't capable of doing nail art. The shop is in horrible condition. Looks like they haven't properly cleaned since I stopped going the first time. The final straw was tonight when I went in to get a fill I stopped after work at 6 they close at 7 I walk in the door none of them adnowlwdged me. I sit down and the two women are taking they're sweet time in the back while the owner is doing nails 7 o clock rolls around and the owner ask his wife how much longer she's gonna be because im still sitting there after an hour. Her response is "I cant I have to go pick up such and such." UNBELIEVABLE Worst service ever. Never returning this place needs cleaned, repaired and staffed with people who are capable of performing the duties of a nail technician. I will making the stride to Nail Envy in Fairlawn for the quality service and cleanliness.

I was in and out. Nails look so cute and they were so friendly. I think I'll be coming back.
