Great Clips

I worked a very short time for the new Great Clips.

The manager of this location is SP and very prejudice.He don't mine you spending your money to receive services, but you just can't work there. Mr.S P doesn't operate base on skills and the contents of one's character, but the color of there skin. He was on me after he felt I was to friendly with the owners who are really nice guys. I sensed and ore about him after that. And he became very unpleasant and sneaky especially when it came to me the only BLACK. out of NINE women . Three Hispanic four whites and me , It was almost like I was a threat to him. I sensed he had an agenda when he started sending me home early 30mins to and hour early before my shift had ended. Not to mention there where still customers to be serviced. He was constantly looking at how many clients I had serviced and constantly making sly comments( under tones) as if he felt I had done enough. He began to stretch the truth being so rapped up in his own fabrications. he had even accuse me in my face of things that absolutely where not true. I guess he was pushing so he could build his case by operating with impure motives. Not only was this an ongoing process of his, but one of the stylist sensed this as well she told me she believed he was trying to get rid of someone. He had even started interviewing to replace me. By the way all the candidate's where Caucasian or Hispanic. The person he brought in let just call her PEE she came in knowing everything. I could have swore that she came in to aide him in how to be an affective manager she had all the answer as to how they did things at that Great Clips she worked for before, she wanted to know who was the fastest cutter which was myself and a couple of others.When she asked Mr. SP it was as if he was almost embarrassed to mention me as one of them, in fact the both of them went in the office for him to share his plans, because from that moment on she acted differently even the other girls where also taken back by her immediate aggressiveness. That location is predominantly Hispanics and Blacks. And It's horrible you can't make a honest liven with people like him stuck with learned behaviors from the way back when. Oh ! and by the way the one who coheres him Ms. PEE into write me up for insubordination for questioning him as to why he was cutting my hours and treating me differently from the others, there where other stylist who take 30 to 45 mins to a client and product sales where much much lower than mine who hours could have had less than me. In addition to that he told me I was smacking gum in the customers ear which was a lie, he also chewed gum on the floor an was very loud and unprofessional.When I ask to see the customer complaints and when this had occurred he then switched the subject, another untruth. He had already placed the target on my back . He also told me to my face that customers where in the salon when we where discussing in the back office. That was not true nor had anyone come in, it was closing time. During our discussion he told me if I didn't like the decisions he had made why don't I quite. My response was, No !! I am not going anywhere by this time I had become fed up with him. I like working for the owners of that location it has a promising future and I could have done very well there had it not been for Mr. SP. I guess Mr. SP kept on until he got the kind of staff he wanted, however; success is not build on LIES. THERE ARE THREE TRUTHS GOD MINE AND HIS. BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO TO OTHERS, IT HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE TO YOU!!@!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE ENCOUNTERED PEOPLE LIKE THIS MOST OF MY ADULT LIFE AND THEY DON'T WIN.
