Totally ignore the very first review..Time to Eat is just better than awesome. Our Mothers Day dinner (first visit) was over the top with Shrimp Cocktail, (huge Shrimp), Stuffed Mushrooms (once again, Huge), Roast Beef Dinner and Salmon Dinner. Breakfast (2nd visit) extremely well done with Pancakes that melt in your mouth. The wait staff, from busboys on up , were on top of it all. Extremely happy to have an establishment opening like this. I will say it is a bit pricey....but the quality of food is well worth it. We definitely will become regulars!!!!!

Be prepared, the menu is massive! We had the burgers & disco fries (fries with cheese and gravy) they were all very good. Service was great our server Angel was amazing. Have no complaints, except to say people who just stop by to use the potty should not write reviews!

I actually haven't been there yet, however, I thought the post about the busboy dumping ashes was uncalled for, he was cleaning up and just because you brought your own drinks to a restaurant to snoop on it, doesn't mean you just leave them outside. And I do believe the dishwasher water is certainly hot enough to clean anything off the dishes. It won't kill you and no I don't smoke!

I will be trying the diner sometime soon!!

The star review is actually based on the other review.

1st review is not helpful at all! there was no review of food or service. The bus boy did something stupid infront of a customer--big deal! I have worked in restaurants for years and after a new restaurant works out all the kinks, they also weed out bad employees. Give them a chance!

I ate at "Time to Eat diner tonite and it was really good. I got a french onion soup and a turkey club and both were very good. My boyfriend got the matzo ball soup and the french dip. The matzoball soup had a very plain broth with nothing in it at all but it was good broth and the matzo balls were fresh and good. My boyfriend is very picky when it comes to a french dip sandwich and he really liked it. He said it was great bread and the meat was fresh and tasty. He also got gravy french fries and loved them. We drank arnold palmers and they were great as well.

We were greeted nicely at the door and our server was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable and clean. We heard other people around us commenting that the food was good as well.

I am happy that we have a good diner in this area and it is open late too. The menu is HUGE so all in your party will be happy. I look foward to trying the diner for breakfast and dessert too. We are lucky that a little town like tequesta has this place so lets give them a chance before you pick apart little things like a young busboy dumping ashes into a cup--trust me he will learn quickly that he can't do that and I am sure the owners would be really upset if they knew about it. Focus on service and food so this restaurant has a chance. Good luck "Time to Eat Diner" hopefully locals will be forgiving if everything is not perfect the first time there. It takes time to work out kinks!! welcome to Tequesta!
