Community Medical Center

Came down for a two week vacation and my provider does not work around here so I was in need of oxygen refill and they were very rude, even with my doctor. They didn't want to service me because I was not their patient and this is "peek season"?!

Not cool.

The worst medical provider in the country. Too stupid to be in the business of providing medical care. Over billing, negligent incompetent treatment. Go north of 195 if you want credible medical care. A death bed for certain

Was in this so called "kid care" emergency room (thought it was a "urgent care"). I was in there 4 hours with my one year old grandson who had a high temperature. I will say the doctor saw him right away and told me it wasn't an ear infection or throat infection and gave him Motrin and put a U bag on him and walked out. No one and I mean no one came in for the next two hours. After two hours a tech came in to check his u bag to see if there was urine. Another hour went by and than she came in to check his temperature and take the u bag off him and took the urine away to do a analysis. After 40 minutes I ask a housekeeping employee to please find his nurse. For the first time in three and half hours his nurse came in. I told her we had been there for 4 hours and I needed a disposition since my grandson was now hungry and what were his results of his one test, the urine analysis. His nurse and the doctor never came back in to the room. The charge nurse came in with his discharge papers.

I work in an emergency room in a different state and I can tell you this , this is no way to run an emergency room! First this is suppose to be a "kid care" emergency room, the staff was in no way "kid friendly". They couldn't even smile at my grandson except for the nurse who just didn't come in the room. They also were bringing in adults who were throwing the "F" word around so don't go there thinking it is just for kids, it is not! In my emergency room the doctor always goes back in to discuss the results of any tests and asks you if you have any questions. Also the nurses in my emergency room go into their patient's rooms and introduce themselves and are required to go in once every two hours . If I could have given this place n zero stars I would have.

Seller beware! If you want to consign and make some extra money this is NOT the place to go. The hospital is aware of the tactics of the shop and they do nothing but take the money "earned" from the shop which is in the 6 figures. You will have items disappear (especially good ones) and you will be lucky if you receive any of your money.... yea they keep the half you agree to for consignment and then they'll keep your half and refuse to re-issue your "lost" check. How SAD that a shop which should be there for good is actually bad!
