I went in recently to tongie family medicine for a stomach issue, scheduled an appointment with Laura the nurse practitioner thats there on fridays, it was great. She spoke to me like an actual person, showed interest and empathy towards me and my situation, and coached me on what i should do for next steps. Shes great and very professional, positive experience. However, i was there about a year ago with a concern with my heart. After waiting in the lil room for literally about 30 mins a nurse came in, we spoke and she suggested an ecocardiogram, so then we did that--or tried. the staff literally barely knew how to run the machine, it was obsurd. several people had to pitch in their genius to run the machine. after that i spoke to weatherford and to make a long story short i left super angry. He showed very little interest or empathy towards me. Barely asked me any questions, he mostly just starred at his iPad. The entire engagement with him was awkward to be honest. See Laura.

I am absolutely disgusted with this doc and his staff. they are the coldest people. The doc treated me as if he was bored, he didn't even give me the normal checkup. He sat across the room asked a bunch of questions and assumed that I had a certain illness, the test that he took had nothing to do with what he thought I had. He put me on the medication without even making sure that's what I had, which made me extremely sick. When I called him to tell him what was going on, I was connected to his snooty nurse. They avoided me, never called back. He and his nurse were just awful, I would definitely tell everyone to spend their hard earned money somewhere else, find a doctor that will at least do his job! I still haven't recovered from the medication and am considering hiring a lawyer. Please do not waste your money, time and most importantly your health on this doctor!

On my fourth day of having a headache, I decided to go to the doctor since this was unusual for me. I had tried my regular Dr., but was unable to get in and decided to give Mr. Weatherford a try. When I went in I found the staff to be cold and uncaring. Mr. Weatherford didn't even ask if I had a history of migraines or headaches. He didn't ask if I'd been drinking enough water, changed any medications, nothing. We talked for less than two minutes before he prescribed me pain killers and sleep aids. I didn't want pain killers, and didn't need sleep aids. I found him to be less than thorough, with a general lack of concern for my situation, let alone my health. My boyfriend has also been seen at Mr. Weatherfords practice and we both actively voice to our friends the bad experinces we've had. My boyfriend also couldn't get in to see our regular doctor, but was sick as a dog. He went to Mr. Weaherford ...where he felt like all the doctor wanted to do was prescribe him medicine without listening to what was physically wrong, and get him out of the office as fast as he could. My boyfriend was prescribed one antibiotic, and when he went to the pharmacy to get his prescription filled, even the pharmacist could see how sick he was, and called Mr. Weatherford to see if he only needed the one prescription. If your pharmacist can tell you are in need of something more than prescribed, that's bad.

Of all the Doctors I have heard about he is definately low on everyones list. A woman I work with had a swollen throat and went to this office only to be told she had allergies and would be fine. Her throat hurt bad enough she got a second opinion, and found out she had a terrible infection and mono, and was immediately scheduled for surgery to get her tonsils removed. I care about my health and others and I highly urge you not to see this Doctor. He is impersonable, cold, close minded and I have heard no good reviews from friends and family who have been to him for help. Also, I paid upfront for my appointment but was billed again four months later. Luckily I went through my bank statement and found a copy of the check I'd written them, and only after I told them I had the copy in my hand as proof I'd already paid did they quit insisting I owed them for the appointment. If you truly care about your familys well being, do not see this excuse for a good doctor.
