The Lakes Apartments

These apartments have ROACHES and BEDBUGS. The staff is neither helpful nor friendly about fixing these issues. I have been dealing with bedbugs in my apartment for months and I just found out my neighbors are in the same predicament. An exterminator has been to my apartment once in the past month, even though I have been calling the apartment office twice weekly and each time I was lied to by the staff. I have not been able to live in my apartment for what is going on four weeks now and when I confronted the apartment manager about this awful and disgusting situation, she advised me it was not her problem.

Also, the front of the complex may look nice, but I live in the back. The lights put up in this area do not even have bulbs. The lights are purely for decorations and there are constant car break ins in this unlit area.

The laundry room is hardly cleaned and they took out the door knobs with the lock, so anyone can come into the laundry room. I have done my laundry among sleeping homeless people a few times.

Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
