Pete served his apprenticeship in England for a worldwide company manufacturing, selling and servicing machinery for the tannery and other industries. He traveled extensively gaining valuable experience that helped achieve and develop a "can do" attitude. An attitude that permeates the fabrication and machining company he founded in 1995 known then as Bulldog Machine and Engineering. Through the years Bulldog Machine has been built upon that foundation of broad experience and a solid "can do" attitude and fortified it with a strong group of partners that evoke the "we can do it and do it well" promise. Now known as Bulldog Machine Inc our capabilities have changed and grown but that same attitude still exists. Ron Kavulich brings a lifetime of experience to Bulldog Machine Inc Born and raised on the east coast he started working with his father at the age of 15 sharpening dies after school. He attended a state vocational trade school during his high-school years studying the machine tool trade and worked in local tool and die shops serving his apprenticeship. He received his journeyman's certificate from the State of Connecticut in tool and die making and tool and model making in 1985. This training has instilled a sense of pride and close attention to detail in all of his work. Shortly there after, he started in CNC programming and used his acquired manual skills in this high tech area. A majority of the work performed was had military applications for customers such as Sikorsky Aircraft, Avco Lycoming, and Norden Systems. In 1990 he moved to California and continued to work in several machine shops in the Bay Area. Ron and Pete were coworkers in a number of different shops btween 1990 and 1998. In 2003 he started working for Pete at Bulldog Machine as the CNC programmer / operator. He now holds the positions of part owner, member of the board, CNC manager, accounts receivable and IT technician Bulldog Machine Inc
