ASAP Cleaning

I am so upset I am in tears right now. My husband said we should hire a maid service to come in deep clean our house as a Mother’s Day present. The ladies arrived 15 minutes late there were three of them. The carpet cleaners came at the same time. So what I needed was woodwork dusting, blinds, and bathrooms deep cleaned. When I told her I had leave to get my grandson and asked her how much the bill would be she said we are at 16 hours right now times for people. So I said 16 hours you have been here 3 1/2 hours. I forgot to say her daughter arrived later. She said we are $35 an hour apiece. The bill at that time was going to be $560 she stated. I said for the whole house? She said no that’s your bill right now. This is before they even made it down stairs. So I go back in our correspondence and I can’t find a quote from her anywhere. She said she forgot to tell me how much she was per hour. So I question her, you are charging me $140 an hour to dust? She said that’s the going rate. I literally was shaking she did two bedrooms, one bathroom my master bath and hall, four ladies for four hours and wanted $560. The most important part of my house the downstairs living room, family room, kitchen, and appliances, weren’t even touched. This is literally the biggest scam I have ever seen in my life. I told them to leave on the spot and wrote a check for $500 which I wish I hadn’t of done now. As a small business owner myself I am disgusted with this business practice and wish I hadn’t hired her at all. Beware you will not get what you are paying fo this is literally the biggest scam I have ever seen in my life. I want to add that my house was clean when they arrived and the carpet cleaners did the floors.
