        Overall

        Shopping here will save you a lot of money, as long as you are not "married" to name brands (although they do sometimes have a few name brands). We love the pork from Aldi's -- no matter how we cook (or overcook) it, it is always tender.



        Many people have a problem with the produce - if you are there soon after it's put out, it is usually great, but they don't refrigerate any of it, so it may not look so good after a couple days. The quality is good if you can get it fresh.



        A couple of problems: not all the products will have a price listed -- this is very exasperating, especially if you are in a hurry!



        Also, many of the Aldi's brand of prepared foods have sodium levels WAY above the regular brands that you buy at other stores, so check the labels carefully!



        I am always amazed at how much money I save when I shop here!
