General Info

Hi, I am a NYC licensed teacher and mother to an energetic 3 year old boy. I've been working with and/or for children since my first job. I have over 20 years experience with children. I've worked in Early Intervention as well as a Child Protective Specialist. I truly enjoy the field of education. I believe that all children are capable of greatness. I run an education based daycare program for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Children who attend Primrose Child Care & Tutoring, LLC will spend their day singing, dancing, and working on practical life skills. The children will be encouraged to explore their environment both indoors and out. It is during these active moments that the children will learn shapes, colors, numbers, letter names and sounds. The children will become familiar with print and discover pre-reading and writing skills through fun interactive methods. The children will also receive more structured learning during circle time through music and reading. Activities will also include developmental play, including acting, as well as arts and crafts. The children will spend time outdoors unless the weather is extreme. The overall goal is to create a strong foundation of social, emotional and academic learning to prepare children for entry into the more structured and formal learning environment while allowing them to be themselves.
