HG Bucks Bagels

I used to love this place. I want to love it so much. I see them trying to add new things and I hope they do succeed, but they have changed my beloved bagel recipes. Each week it's a little different and I don't like it. May 24 was great! I had the best batch of bagels there ever - it was right after they took over. Then it went down hill. The bagels are no longer dense like a bagel should be. They're really light and airy, sort of like super market bagels. They've changed their sesames from toasted to raw, of which I'm not a fan. For a while, they seemed not even to be boiled/steamed, but even the former owners had trouble with the steamer.Anyway, it's my guess that they're trying to save money and either changed flours or are adding a lot of yeast to stretch the dough. The outcome is not good and I've had to stop going there. I've been going there since they opened years ago! It's sad. Bucks, please go back to the original recipe!! Change is not always good.
