The worst experience of my wedding

I got married in Warner Robins at the end of August. A week before my wedding I decided to give embroidered T-shirts to a few of the people helping me. I called every business listed in Warner Robins on Tuesday and explained that I would need the T-shirts for Friday, and I was willing to pay for the speed of the order. Only Successful Images told me that this order would be no problem for them.



On Wednesday morning I went to the shop and dropped off the T-shirts and an apron to be embroidered. I provided the materials and on each T-shirt was only 2 lines of script. They charged me $22 per T-shirt and $12 (I believe) for the apron. I was a little taken aback by the price (I wasn't paying for the T-shirt, only the embroidering), but I agreed to the price believing I was paying for the rush order, as I offered to do by phone the afternoon before. Once again, I asked if it would be possible to pick up the T-shirts on Friday morning or early afternoon. And once again, they assured me that it would be finished by that time.



On Friday morning, about 10 o'clock, I called Successful Images to ask about the status of the order. They informed me that the T-shirts would be ready around 5 o'clock that afternoon. I reminded them that I had specifically asked for the T-shirts to be ready by early afternoon and that I would call again later to see if I could pick them up earlier than 5.



By now it is the day before my wedding. The rehearsal dinner is planned for 7 o'clock and the gifts would be given out then. Everyone is in the throws of putting the last minute touches on the entire things.



At 1:30 I call again. The woman I got on the phone was very impatient with me when I asked about the time I could pick up the T-shirts. This time she tells me that they will be ready at 5 or 5:30. I'm starting to get a little nervous.

At 5:30 I arrive at the shop to pick up my order. I am informed that they are being done at that moment and it will be 15 or 20 minutes more. Long story short, I pace around the store for more than an hour waiting for the T-shirts to be finished, while the workers are in the back room chatting.

Finally, a little after 6:30 they bring out my order. I ask to see the manager to complain about the wait, the price, and for misleading me about the time it would require to finish the order. After waiting 5 minutes for the manager to come out of the back, attend another customer first and tidy up some paperwork, I was attended. I made my complaint and asked for a discount. The manager very tersely did some calculations, made an impolite remark, and gave me a 10% discount.



It is now 15 minutes before the rehearsal dinner is supposed to start and I am stuck in this store with an unprofessional owner. I paid the remainder of the bill and left, more upset by the customer service of this store than by any other mishap that is inevitable with a wedding.

I strongly discourage using this store.
