Teeth Cleaning
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride exposure is a daily occurrence for many patients. Found in tap water, toothpaste, and food items, it is commonly known as “nature’s cavity fighter.” Offering many oral health benefits such as fortifying enamel and combatting decay, our dental team offers additional fluoride treatment to those who are at a higher risk of developing cavities. Applied during a regular exam, it is safe for children and adults and is completely painless.
Dental Sealants
Your molars contain multiple crevices that easily trap harmful bacteria and food particles. To reduce the likelihood of cavities, we can apply dental sealants. Typically used on younger patients because of their novice oral hygiene habits, they’re also beneficial for adults who are prone to developing cavities. We will apply a clear coating over the chewing surfaces so that teeth are better protected against possible decay.

Fillings
Resin Composite
While the goal is to avoid cavities, it’s not always possible. With tooth-colored fillings, we can easily improve the current state of your tooth as well as its future. Traditional amalgam can expand when exposed to hot or cold temperatures, and it requires more of the tooth structure to be removed; however, with composite resin, the color-matched material is flexible and does not expand. This reduces the chances of your tooth becoming further damaged over time, and you get to keep more of it!
Veneers

Crowns

At Main Line Dental Group, our dentists can produce faster results with the help of our in-house dental lab – the only one in the area. Whether it’s a dental crown, inlay, onlay, etc. that you need, we can produce a one-of-a-kind, high-quality restoration that fits comfortably within your smile.
Bridges
Consecutive missing teeth can create a large gap in your smile – one that can be easily fixed with the help of a dental bridge. Made up of two dental crowns on either side, they are connected by artificial teeth also known as pontics. Dr. Williams will alter healthy abutment teeth on both sides of the gap so that the crowns fit snugly on top, allowing the prosthetic to create a complete smile that looks, functions, and feels real.
Dental Bonding
Small flaws no longer need to be an issue thanks to cosmetic bonding. Using the same material that tooth-colored fillings rely on – composite resin – the substance is applied to the enamel layer and hardened into place using a curing light. Your dentist will shape the resin so that it adequately covers the imperfection and blends in with your existing tooth. It takes only one appointment and can last for years.
Restorative Dentistry
Your initial appointment will be a very thorough visit, in most cases requiring a full hour and a half of time. We will collect and review information relating to your medical history and past dental history as well as all pertinent information relating to the problem or reason that prompted your visit. In addition, you will receive a thorough examination of your oral hard and soft tissues, an examination and assessment of your periodontal health, a thorough examination for dental caries (decay), and an evaluation of your existing restorative dentistry.

Root Canal Treatment
Severe tooth damage or decay typically calls for some form of restorative care. While a tooth-colored filling or customized dental crown are common solutions, there is the chance that root canal treatment will be required, especially if the patient is experiencing a lot of pain. Our dental team at Main Line Dental Group is here to remove the infection that exists with the inner layer – the pulp – so that you can avoid the need for extraction. Deep Cleaning
Scaling and root planing is a non-surgical form of treatment that is commonly referred to as “deep cleaning.” Consisting of two parts, scaling involves removing any accumulated plaque and tartar from your teeth and gumline, while root planing requires treating the gum pockets to smooth out the roots so that the chances of reinfection are reduced. This process also encourages the gums to reattach and better support your teeth.

Dentures
When replacing an entire arch of teeth, a full denture can be customized to fit comfortably on top of your gums. Held in place by natural suction as well as denture adhesive, it is a non-invasive way to dramatically improve function and aesthetics. The same can be said for partial dentures that are used to replace multiple missing teeth. But instead of using natural suction, these prosthetics use metal clasps to help hold them in place.
