Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan

Im not 100% positive that the vegetables were frozen but it sure seemed that way. the spinach was of the exact same consistency and taste as you would get from the frozen bag of chopped spinach at the grocery store, it was terrible. also the eggplant was equally as disgusting. All the sides looked like they were prepared in a nursing home (bland and practically pureed). the only good thing i can say about this place was that the rice is pretty freaking good, enough to make me want to go again, but ONLY for the rice. the meats were so/so. I have been to this place about 5 times and really the rice is what brought me back, but i always end up regretting going because the sides were just so unprofessionally prepared. Fresh vegetables go a LONG way. Where are the local food critics to bash this place?
