Thank you to everyone involved for a positive experience with my new car. Thanks to Calvin for a no pressure approach with a sense of humor. Everyone in involved in the dealership seemed to have the same goal which to help me along with my purchase. My past experiences in Western Mass have always been pretty negative and I a glad I made the trip . Keep up the great work and thank you again.

Overall

I just left Glick Nissan and I have to say it was the worst experience with a car dealership in my life! First off, my younger sister had gone to purchase a Versa and was quoted a price above the online prices. The very next day, a friend of hers was able to get the exact same vehicle for considerably less. Today, I decided to give the location another chance because when I called Brandon, one of the sales representatives, told me that they had Labor Day sales and he could work out a great price for me. I went there while my sister and mother were at the Marlborough Nissan, and was told they were out of the Nissan Versa SV, but did have one SL in stock.

My mother spoke to Brandon on the phone while I was there and inquired about further lowering the price. While my mother was still on the phone, Brandon handed the phone back to me and mocked my mother by making a squawking movement with his hands. I found this extremely unprofessional and offensive but knowing that my sister really wanted the vehicle, I let it go for the moment. When my mother hung up the phone, Brandon looked at me and said “I don’t want to sell a car to her.” Again, I found this completely inappropriate. He stated his concern for his customer satisfaction ratings.

We discussed a price some more, and I was told they would hold that price until my sister could make the less than 10 minute drive to the location. Knowing that my mother was leaving another dealership to purchase the vehicle at the price we were quoted, they apparently “sold” the vehicle to another customer via a telephone transaction, after briefly attempting to sell it to me for my own personal use. Within minutes, we were approached by a man who told us the vehicle had been “sold” over the phone to another purchaser, and then tried to sell us a more expensive Sentra. My mother arrived at the location a few minutes later and was clearly upset as she had been verbally promised by the sales associates that the price would be held open until her arrival. Brandon then began to exhibit an extremely cocky demeanor and spoke to my mother with complete disrespect. The older man who had approached us previously, Richard – the general manager of the property, similarly was cocky and began to bash the Marlborough Nissan location. The sales associates at this location are completely rude, disrespectful, deceitful, and offensive. I would NEVER purchase a vehicle from them and I wouldn't recommend that anyone do so either…and as far as Brandon’s customer satisfaction concerns, he should really learn to be less disrespectful if he wants satisfied customers. It would serve this location well to understand that customers do not appreciate being lied to and spoken to like they are second class citizens.

Over all my experience at Glic...

Over all my experience at Glick was good, but it was not perfect, so on the survey sent in the weeks that followed I scored them based on how I felt appropriate and added additional comments on why I scored what I scored. At the time, I might have scored a perfect 10, but companies often forget that customer service needs to continue past the point of purchase. In the end I believe that I scored them between 7-10 for the entire survey, and said I would recommend them in the future. I answered honestly. My experience wasn't going to keep me from being a customer and if I remember even a 7 was a good score. Today I went to get my first complimentary oil change. After about 30 minutes, Richard Appleton came over and sat down and proceeded to harass me on my survey score. He went on how surprised he was at my survey scores and how their ranking, as well as Brandon's, went down ALL because I did not give them a perfect score. He kept going on how it really hurt Brandon's feelings and never have they received such a bad review. He also said "well didn't I get you the car you wanted, that was not easy." Not easy? He made a few calls and ended up exchanging cars with another dealer. That's his job, I had two other dealers who said they had the car I was looking for and could have easily gone to them. He continued to badger me in the waiting area with others standing around watching. I have never in all my years been so insulted and embarrassed and made to feel guilty for simply being honest. Even after I was clearly upset he did not try to apologize.

Dear Melissa, I was absolutely shocked upon reading all of your negative internet reviews. I thought the conversation I had with Mr. Bourke was cordial, constructive, and gave you, I, and Glick Nissan the start of a new favorable beginning. He said he would speak to you about preventing unnecessary and unjust derogatory comments on the internet. As I explained to him, the purpose of approaching you was not to create an embarrassing situation or make you feel uncomfortable, but to get a better understanding of your discontent, to find out what went wrong, so that I could correct any future similar problems by discussing them in my morning sales meetings. It was certainly not to "harass" you about an unpleasant situation that had already occurred. I apologize if my questioning was direct and to the point, but I did not want to disguise a negative response about the salesman and dealership. When I mentioned the "8 to 10 minutes", it was referring to the time that the technician had been assigned your vehicle and was preparing to start the work on it. As I explained to your husband, the reason for my sitting with you in an empty customer waiting area was because I felt it was a friendlier and more comfortable place to converse rather than in the confines of my office. I asked my staff about the $500 you left as a good faith deposit which was to be returned upon delivery. You decided to return that night to credit back that deposit which we immediately did, rather than wait to the next morning to stop in on your way to work just up the street. As I explained to Mr. Bourke, my office door is certainly open to discuss a new and pleasant beginning with you which he appreciated and thanked me for my interest and concern. Please call me anytime at 508-870-0800 and again my apology for an unpleasant experience.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

They are all liars. They try to fix things that are not broken. The service was horiible and the management was rude, and very unprofessional. If something is broke under an extrended warranty they will find a way to tell you its not covered. You lose Glick Nissan...Im not stupid.

I wasn't sure about where to go when I was looking for my new car. Someone recommend Glick Nissan to me. When I came in I was greeted by Gerry Nicholatos. I told him what I was looking for and the rest was history. He was knowledgeable in all aspects of what I was looking for and provided great insight into the car buying process I wasn't aware of the first time around. I ended up getting everything I wanted, which doesn't always happen, and Gerry was there helping me the whole way.

Thank you Gerry and thank you Glick Nissan!!!!

I recently leased a 2011 Nissan Rogue at Glick. It was my first - and so far my best! -new car negotiation. I told Paul K what I could afford for a monthly payment and he made it work. He was awesome to work with and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. Peter was super helpful in the process, too. If I could "Like" them on YP, I would!

Best car buying experience you could ask for! The entire staff was courteous and friendly. My salesman Phil was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy - this was really appreciated whereas the other two dealers I visited just wanted to sell me any car they had in stock. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone!!!

DON'T BOTHER - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I write this message to convey my disappointment with a recent visit to Glick Nissan in Westboro, MA. My daughter was looking for a brand new Nissan Rogue, and was also considering trading in her 2001 Nissan Maxima SE. After visiting two other dealerships, we struck up a hand-shake deal in Westboro with salesman, Phil. The agreed upon price with her trade and after rebates was $22,200. However, Phil stated that when they located her desired color and if it came with a cargo cover, it would be an additional $300 which we also agreed upon. I once again confirmed with Phil that when we got back with the check, that the price would be either $22,200 or $22,500 and Phil stated yes, there would be no other charges. We went to the bank, my daughter, all excited, got a $10,000 bank check for a deposit, (and she was also going to finance through Nissan), and when we got back, Phil handed us papers to sign and the price was NOW $22,795. AND the vehicle had no cargo cover. So now I ask Phil why it is $600 more and he stated nonchalantly "well it's a different invoice #". At the point, I told Phil he misrepresented himself, the dealership and Nissan and we left.

Dear Mr. Desantis, I apologised for the confusion which I reported back to you on Sept. 17th after investigating our records thoroughly on your daughter and wife's visit. As I explained at that time, the vehicle we had quoted $22,200 on was a Brilliant Silver Rogue with a list price of $29,560 that we had on our lot. The Pearl White Rogue that your daughter definitely preferred was one that had to be located from another dealership with a price increase, rear bumper protector, and wheel locks with a list price of $30,315. The new discounted price was $22,748, which was an additional $207 savings. There was no deception and no misrepresentation, only a factual explained charge for the different colored Rogue that was a necessity for your daughter and wife. As I had explained in my original correspondence that apparently was disregarded, I invited you to contact me directly, so I could show you all the dated and documented information verifying the quotations that were presented for both vehicles at that time.
