Mo's Gun Shop

He is NOT a veteran. Although his shop decorations would lead you to believe he was a a Marine. He is not. Glad he fixed your 1911 "19114Life": I had him do work on mine before I learned of his, ahem, "credentials"; whoever did the work managed to mar my brand new front site, and also did not properly install what I asked him to. I wouldn't go there again if offered free gunsmithing for life and 50% off any firearm in the shop.

I made a hasty decision and purchased a used pistol from a private seller at a gun show. It seemed like I was getting a great deal until I tried to fire the gun and realized that it didn't function properly. I took the gun to Mo's and was happy to meet the owner, Pat. I explained my situation and that I really didn't want to spend a lot of money on this project. We discussed my budget limitations (my budget was very low) and he agreed to evaluate the gun and return it to safe working order so long as it wasn't going to exceed the limit I had set. A couple of days later I picked up my pistol and now it works great. I couldn't be happier and Mo (Pat) has a customer for life.

Pat the owner , indicated he could thread my Savage barrel . I took the rifle to him in January, 2012. He told me for that precision work he had a lathe at his home , and thats where he would thread the barrel , in two weeks time. On the 11th of April, 2012 I went without notice to retrieve my Savage rifle . The work had not been done . I had excuse after excuse from Pat and could no longer trust his word . In the last conversation before I decided to pick up my rifle without notice, Pat stated his friend had the precision lathe he needed to complete the task. He also stated he was having trouble making arraingements to have the time on the lathe . I want anyone considering having work done by Pat to be aware of my experience . I certainly had hoped for more from a fellow veteran . I had heard nothing but praise about Pat, but his retreating to the back room while his hired help returned my rifle only confirmed my suspicion of his true character and level of professionalism.
