Cuts N Suds is a fantastic pet groomer that I would recommend to anyone. Jan is exceptional with my elderly dog Coco and she always comes out looking like a million bucks! The pricing hasn't changed in the 6yrs I've been taking her there and neither has the service. They have gotten me in with 3days notice or less when I have had issues with Coco. I love these ladies, they are all professional and someone you can trust with your prized pets.

Response to Joy L. Your cat was severely matted and had to be shaved. If you think that is easily done, then you are mistaken. We routinely call the pet owners immediately when fleas are found so that they can treat their home while the pet is groomed so they do not return to an infested environment.

In 20 years of grooming cats I have only refused to bathe two cats. So for you to downplay Jerry's aggression is grossly misstated. Obviously, you didn't try to bathe and deflea the cat yourself. Also the cat was 90 percent groomed. That is why the price was that amount. Your comments on this site and Yelp are considered a form of bullying, and I have plenty of satisfied clients who would agree. Hopefully you were able to exterminate the fleas and are providing Jerry with a safe and comfortable home.

I am sorely disappointed with the way Jan over charged me today for my cats grooming appointment.



First of all I will admit that I was an hour late, but... I will also state that Jan gave me the go ahead to bring my cat in.



I brought my cat in and about ten minutes later, Jan called freaking out about fleas and said that my cat was infested with them. Jerry is a medium to long haired kitten and gets knots if we do not get him groomed regularly. Well, we just moved to this area and because we have spent the last three months updating a house, we have not had time to take him. Anyways, she called complaining about the fleas, and said that she could deflea him, but that it would cost an extra $15. The price to groom was already set to $65. Not two minutes after that phone call, Jan rang again and complained that Jerry was hissing and growling at her, and that she would not risk bathing or completely grooming the rest of his hair because she could not risk it. I did not have a problem with that, but let me explain. My cat has been groomed regularly since he was a kitten, and has NEVER bitten anyone. He is three and half years old, and is happy as ever in our home. My cat is also an indoor cat and unfortunately was infected by the fleas from our dogs prior to us getting them updated on their flea and heartworm prevention, also because of the move.



Anyhow, when I picked up Jerry from cuts n suds not twenty minutes after dropping him off, Jan charged me $55 dollars for an unfinished job. And to make matters more unhonest on her part, I took him to a walk in clinic right after leaving cuts n suds to have been told that my cat was not badly infested with fleas. And... They handled my cat professionally and knew that even though he was unhappy and hissing and growling, that he was not going to bite them.



My main complaint with Jan is that I am still wondering where she is getting the $55 charge from because she did not treat him for the fleas, nor did she bathe or finish grooming his hair. This was a complete rip off and an un empathetic response to a customer who was having a challenging day with their pet. I would not trust Jan if I were you. I'd also like to point out that Jan was not going to give me a receipt, when I asked for one, she pulled out notebook paper and wrote down a receipt so that it would not be recorded. That was also fishy
