Continental Country Club

Years ago we ate here almost every night, but it got bad and we had not been in years. Then last month we got a flier estolling their new menu with real BBQ and wood oven Pizza. We came. Nothing from the flier was on the menu. It apparently was not yet ready although the flier was 2-3 weeks old by then. So we ordered from the menu. I got "pulled pork" with one (count em 1!) side. What I got barely covered half a plate - no bread, salad, nothing. There was a wad of my "side" mashed potatos and gravy The gravy tasted more like the can than gravy. The potatoes were processed and half cold. The "pulled pork" was an small glob of some sort of mystery meat. I actually tried a bite. Could not tell what it was - pork, cat, dog, what? I don't know but one bite of the half cold glob was enough. My wife had a open faced roast beef . Same gravy and processed whatever. The roast beef was out of a package and would have been rejected by Arby's. So, processed food from a microwave - the two mortal sins of the food business. The Chef should be jailed , the manager horse whipped in public and the place closed in the public interest. This may have been the worst meal I've ever had - certainly in the last 40 years. I would say see for yourself but please don't. Its just too horrible !
