The cabinets are wonderful. The quartz counter top is superb. The workmen were excellent and we can highly recommend them. As general contractor, A. White and Sons (Lacillade's recommendation), however, was a disaster. The general contractor would have the workmen show up for an hour or two and then move to another job, always claiming progress at each job - never completing anything. Drawers were marred and without handles. Opening the cabinets doors interfered with the pendant lighting - no one bothered to take a measurement. Switches were never ordered causing a delay of another week. The under counter lights were never installed. They were and 'up-charge.' Wall fascia was ordered to the incorrect size and then never finished. We were promised on three occasions that the work would be completed that afternoon - once by the man who owned the supply company. It never happened. A two to three week job turned into a seven week ordeal. Imagine being with out a functioning kitchen for that length of time! Starting the seventh week, the work was still not completed. We finally fired A. White and Sons. We had to complete the renovation of our own volition. Our advice is not to use A. White and Sons as your general contractor. We were EXTREMELY dissatisfied.
