        Do not have you vehicle serviced at the pep boys location in Winter Haven fl. The first time I did the stole my credit card info and charged $248 worth of auto parts from an online site called Genuine Auto Spares. I have contacted my bank and they are investing the fraudulent charges. Not to mention the fact that the customer service is a joke and they could care less about serving the customer as promised. They told a patron the needed expensive brake repair. I overheard this and informed their customer that they were trying to scam him. I repaired the basic brake issue when these crooks told him he needed 2 calipers. These people are not real mechanics just glorified oil changers. The 2 idiots at the counter, the bald foreign loser and the guy trying to relive his youth with the stupid hair and jewelry are a joke and only interested in selling you unnessary repairs. Do yourself a favor and do research or ask a real mechanic before flushing your money down the Pep Girls toilet.

        They told us we needed a new battery and a new alternator. We didn't believe them and asked them to just replace the battery. We picked up the car and drove it straight to our regular repair shop. They immediately checked the alternator and told us it was problem free. Pep Boys wanted to charge us $700 for an alternator they knew we didn't need. We will never go back there and hope to prevent others from being ripped off.
