Honestly, I'm mad I even have to give one star. I would never go back there and really recommend you don't either.
Here's the whole story- I looked at different shops and picked Accurate because Adam said "we'll have the car looking better than new, we'll even take care of scratches and a broken mirror and we'll charge the insurance!" So naturally I was ecstatic at the prospect of taking advantage of insurance claims. As soon as I left the car I should've known.
The day I dropped it off I was caught in the middle of an appraiser trying to look at a car they had inside their work area and they absolutely refused him entrance, he left furious and saying it's illegal to deny him access to the vehicle, they would hear from his lawyer. They not only took over TWO MONTHS to fix my car, when I got it back I had to leave it two more times to fix remaining issues from the crash. They charged the insurance company close to $8,000 when my car is only valued at $6,500....by that math they should have declared it a total loss (that would mean no instance scam so I assumed that's why it didn't happen).
To top things off- the crash in quesion was to my back bumper and trunk lid, which for a hatchback like mine is a big lid. They told me they replaced the whole trunk lid which would make sense since parts are cheap BUT they didn't. They simply put heavy reinforcement material, straightened out the crash, and repainted. Now the trunk slams down with such force (because of the extra weight) it is impossible to put things in the trunk by myself. I've tried going through the insurance agency so they know they were scammed and definitely overcharged but obviously things like this will go on unresolved.
I would rather sell my car at this point than go back to their incompetent team and have them "fix" their stupid mistake- but then again it would probably take another two months and $8000 in insurance charges.
