Boardman Movies

A recent visit was terrible (X-Men Apocalypse in 3D). The color of the movie was in saturation overall, with a heavy green tint. This was present in previews, and when the Marvel logo came up and was off color I went out and reported this to the manager. I was told that it would self calibrate. It remained this way the entire movie. It was very distracting, and ruined the enjoyment of the movie. I approached the manager after the movie ended, along with two of the people I was with. The manager claimed it looked fine to him, tried to blame the off color on the 3D technology (that they charge extra for), and then made dismissive comments about how we must have enjoyed the movie as we sat through it. I reached out to the owner, and eventually received a call from the manager apologizing, the owner never followed up - never offered any real fix to the problem.
I will not be returning to Movies 8 or pay good money to watch movies that look like bootlegs.

I took my son to see Planes 2. It's his first indoor theater experience. It was clean, quiet., the employees were so kind. My son enjoyed the arcade area. Tickets are just 3$ each. Think the only down side was my son's bag of skittles were kind of old looking and tasting, so that was a few dollars wasted. But all in all the experience was awesome
