        Cece Couture is a specialty boutique that focuses on specialty gowns for occasions such as cocktail parties, wedding receptions, homecoming, prom, pageants, and much more. The gowns range from sizes 00-28. Cece Couture also carries over 60 styles of shoes and variety of jewelry and handbags. White the shopper shows off her gown on the runway, her guests can enjoy the complimentary candy bar. Cece Couture was started January 2014 by Youngstown State University graduate, Cecelia Haren. As a young girl, Cecelia recognized a love she had for the fashion industry,formal gowns in particular. While in college, Cecelia realized that the women of Youngstown needed a place to shop for formal gowns without going to a bridal boutique. This need led Cecelia into her journey of starting what is now Cece Couture.

        I took my daughter shopping to pick out her freshman homecoming gown last week. We stopped in this store and when we arrived it seemed very picturesque. As we were looking a young woman kept insisting that my daughter try on this new gown they just got in, saying how amazing she'd look in it. I asked the price and told the woman we only wanted to spend $400 on a gown but she didn't listen. She brought a two pce gown to my 14 year old daughter and told her it would look fabulous on her. They were trying to hard sell us into a $800 gown. After I politely told the woman we weren't interested she rolled her eyes at me. This business is staffed by immature young woman with no taste. They should consider taking a class in customer service and realize that NO 14 year old should be put in a gown that shows more than her bikini.

        FABULOUS!!



        Just took my daughter here to get her homecoming dress. The staff was so wonderful and sweet. I had my three year old with me and they talked to him and kept him occupied while I helped my daughter choose her dress. I will never go anywhere else again. The owner was there and she was so young, but smart. I was surprised at her intelligence and was extremely impressed. Too bad she's engaged or I would have hooked her up with my nephew!

        When I walked into this store I was immediately annoyed.I have allergies to a lot of different things and a staff member kept telling me to go try out their candy bar. I politely declined and she insisted more and more. They had cookies with nuts in them and I had to leave the store because I could feel my throat closing. Why a dress store feels the need to have candy and junk food is beyond me. I am not happy with this place, I don't expect to go into anaphylactic shock when I'm trying to buy a prom dress. I wouldn't recommended this place to anyone .

        Hi Angie, I am the owner of Cece Couture and I am so sorry that this happened to you. We provide a candy bar and fresh baked cookies for customers to give a fun and upbeat atmosphere. We do try to make sure every customer is informed of what types of candies and/or cookies are being provided so that consumers are educated incase of allergies. I am surprised to hear that the girls were pressuring you to eat, but they may have been overly excited. My grandmother bakes the cookies which is why we love to share them. Being that you had such a poor experience, I am taking it into consideration when deciding what to offer guests in our store.         never heard of this place but was shopping at Michaels and saw it. I brought my daughter back with me last night and i really liked it. the one girl even offered me hot chocolate. going back when they get more dresses next week.

        What a great place! Ce Ce really knows how to pick amazing dresses for a variety of formal events. I am looking forward to seeing the new dresses come in that she spoke about on WKBN this morning. I was there for the grand opening and it won't be long before I check back for my daughter.         The store itself may have been nice but the staff was not. All I know is that I don't enjoy having petty girls handout fake compliments as they try to hard sell me a gown that is hideous and then try to get me to buy the ugly and more expensive dress over the one that is actually classy and pretty. This place has potential but not if the employees don't learn how to treat people. It's rough saying this because I enjoyed meeting miss ohio and seeing something New for once but I won't be back to this store.

        Hello, I am the owner of Cece Couture and I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience at our store. I see you posted this review the day after our grand opening. This may have been the reason the the employees seemed overly excited. I am also sad to hear you find our dresses ugly. We do carry gowns from top industry leaders such as Jovani Fashions who has gowns on the Red Carpet, Faviana which is worn by celebrity Ashley Benson regularly, and Blush Prom which is featured in popular prom magazines such as Seventeen Prom. While we do try to carry a variety of looks and prices ranges, we never want to make a customer feel pressured to buy. Our girls are not paid by commission and have no reason to be pressuring. Sometimes, the girls may personally love a dress and hope that her customer loves it too. I will be holding a team meeting to discuss this matter. I feel terrible that you had such a a bad experience. I also want to thank you for the compliment of calling us pretty :) We believe that every woman is beautiful.
