Dental health is a critical component of your pet's overall well-being. Overlooking routine dental care can lead to various health issues, including gum disease, tooth decay, and even more serious infections. Our team of experienced veterinarians and technicians aim to maintain that sparkling smile through expert dental care.
Vaccination
Puppies and kittens require a series of vaccinations on a specified schedule to keep them healthy from the start. During your pet's annual wellness examination, we'll continually evaluate and adjust their wellness plan to ensure optimal health.
Veterinary Ophthalmology
With a special interest in internal medicine, ophthalmology, and ultrasound, Dr. Davis loves all aspects of veterinary medicine. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pets and cherishes the human-animal bond that brings joy to our lives. Dr. Davis resides in Charlottesville with her family and three cats. In her rare moments of free time, she enjoys running, cycling, swimming, traveling, wine tasting, and cooking. We are conveniently located at the heart of the rapidly growing Zion Crossroads area, serving both the rural and urban community.
Nutritional Counseling
Comprehensive Examination
It's our firm belief that prevention is the best medicine. Setting a proper care routine is vital to ensure the long-term health of your pet. Our goal during these wellness visits is to establish a baseline for your pet's health to catch any infectious or chronic diseases early on. Our veterinary team recommends annual wellness visits and bi-annual wellness visits for our older pets as disease processes can advance quickly in our older patients.
Low-level, also known as cold, laser therapy focuses red and infrared light on tissue at and below the surface of the skin. The light energizes the cellular mass, producing a structural protein called collagen used to repair tissue. Lasers continue the healing process by supporting vascular dilation and synthesis, increasing blood circulation to the affected region. The stimulation releases the bodies own pain-relieving hormones, generating mild pain management properties.

Skin Condition and Allergy Treatment
Did you know that just like people, pet allergies are typically lifelong conditions? This means that while we cannot cure allergies, we are able to manage symptoms through a combination of topical and oral medications, injectables, and more.
Upper Respiratory Illness Treatment

Laser therapy is an innovative new technology used to treat acute and chronic injuries. The non-invasive treatment stimulates cell regeneration by increasing blood flow to the targeted area. This is used to accelerate the healing process following surgery, alleviate joint pain and treat degenerative diseases.
