Roberto's

I had used Roberto's for my wedding reception. Thought the entire planning, the owner was present for any of the meetings. They tried to cut corners everywhere, even suggesting bed sheets for table linens and plastic plates so no one would have to do dishes. I ended up buying my own linens and renting plates from ABC Rentals. We decided on a menu of Roasted chicken and Roast Beef, with Mashed Potatoes and steamed rice for our starches. The Chicken was dry the Roast Beef was actually Corned Beef which they tried to pass off as Roast Beef! The Mash was chunky and flavorless! I requested Country Gravy, we got watery brown gravy. We asked for Steamed Green Beans, we got Canned! Everything was Ice cold before the meal had even started. The only positive was the space in general. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

This is the best mexican food in Abilene, The BEST hotsauce and the staff is wonderful, Very nice and comforable restaurant to eat lunch at, I wish they were open on weekends and for dinner, To back they only open from 11am-2pm.
