We paid Votruba Tile & Granite almost $5000 to install granite countertops into our house (Kitchen & Fireplace). He said he needed 80% down so we paid it. He told me that he would do the job in 2 to 3 weeks. After 6 weeks went by and he still could not give me a date as to when it would be done, I wrote to the BBB asking for a date as to when he would install my granite or else give me my money back so I could find someone less busy to complete the work. After I wrote the BBB, he totally refused to do any of the work unless I withdrew my statement to the BBB. I said I would not and that was extortion. We did take him to small claims court and won, but Texas laws seem to protect the person who is being sued. We haven���t seen a dime of our money, and we probably never will. I know this man is trying to rename his company to B & K Bath and Kitchen Remodeling because I called the number below and the answering machine still answers as Votruba Tile & granite.

This guy has ruined my chances at going to college he told my parents that he would install granite counter tops and fireplace for my parents and they paid him 80% up front and that is 5000 dollars and he refused to do the service. Now the money that my parents were going to use to help me pay for a year of college is gone because of this guy inability to give the service he was paid for but refused to do. DO NOT GO HERE he will burn you like he burned us.
